Friends In Dead Places 3

Title: Friends in Dead Places

Rating: PG13 (for a couple of bad words - Owen!)... However there is one NC17 chapter which will be clearly marked.
Characters/Pairings: Jack Harkness, Ianto Jones, Toshiko Sato, Owen Harper, Gwen Cooper, Jack/Ianto, Ianto/OMC, mentions Jack/OMC
Spoilers: Small ones for Cyberwoman, Countrycide, End of Days, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Exit Wounds but nothing major!
Warnings: M/M relationships, violence, blood, Character Death, angst. Don't like any of those - don't read!
Length: apparently: 25,381 (oh dear.)

Summary: Ianto gets a lesson in dining, morality, mortality and the betrayal of friends.

Disclaimer: Torchwood belongs to RTD and the BBC, unfortunately. But if I owned them they'd have a lot more fun! This is a non-profit work of fiction and the only thing I lay claim to is the OMC and the plot (and I still have reservations on that one!)

A/N:
This was written waaaay back in October for the Halloween Fest over at

tw_calender under the prompt of vampire!  Wohoo!  However, I have decided that I want to put my fics up here on my lj so I am doing this now - before my laptop sets itself on fire again and spends two months with the incompetents at my local PC World (don't get me started!)...  So I apologise in advance if you've read this before.  If you haven't, I bid you welcome!

Me, Myself and I

Hmmm... what is there to say about me??

Not all that much really.

I'm 23, live in Yorkshire, England, currently work in a job where I have far to much power and no idea what I am doing, and still have to finish my degree in History.

I love reading and writing and am trying to make more time to do both. Especially the writing part.

I switch fandoms depending on my current on obsession... which is currently the delectably Welsh Ianto Jones of Torchwood. Sarcasm, snark and coffee... what more could one want? And it comes all neatly gift wrapped. So Torchwood is up there!

Other things I adore include: QI (Stephen Fry and Alan Davies... what can I say?), House (Hugh Laurie is an utter star. I mean really.), Lord of the Rings - the books, the films, the cartoon... not sold on the musical though... I love the Harry Potter fandom, despise the final book. Joss Whedon, well, I have no words. My music taste changes and I am usually happier by an open fire or on a beach.

My worst enemy is my dog Milo, (spelled Milo but pronounced kilo), he's the little brother I never wanted. But our other dog is my baby, she's way too smart and expressive for a dog.

And I'm running out of words... My parents think I'm a little strange, my sister knows I was adopted, and my humour can lean towards the morbid. My bedroom is black and white and my prized possession is my laptop. Take it from me and I curl up and die. Summer of 69 and Terry Pratchett always make me smile. Nothing makes me cry... unless its laughter. I think that fandom has some amazing authors and some that are very brave.

I love history. I love myth. I think that horror is romantic and romance is overrated.

Oh and I am an unrepentant slasher and highly medicated... anything else??

My Fanfiction.net account which is just going to be my writing, is here: www.fanfiction.net/~blackhemlock but I'll use my journal to post mainly fic but other little things that amuse me or I consider wisdom. Although, as my A Level English Lit teacher can testify, I have a hard time with spelling the word wise. I have a hard time spelling full stop.

If you do read anything written here, please comment. Even if its only to tell me to hang up my type-writer. Concrit is so very welcome... (although I might want to curl up and cry about it later). Just don't flame... its mean and pointless and I bite!

Ciao x
